Job: Atlantis is hiring Site Managers to manage various Fellowships in Spain in summer 2018. The Site Manager will be assigned to a city in Spain for the summer. The role has 3 main responsibilities: 1) Manage groups of university students (Atlantis Fellows) observing in hospitals and oversee their safety and well-being during their Fellowship. This includes 24/7 emergency availability. 2) Organize travel, housing, group meals, and local transport procedures for Fellows. This includes managing purchases and expense reports. 3) Maintain flow of coordination and logistics information with USA and Global Programs Teams. 4) Plan, organize, and facilitate the observation experiences of the students within Atlantis Partner Hospital(s). This includes creating a rotation schedule based upon the preferences of the students and Hospital availability, ensuring that doctors are prepared and willing to receive students, and managing the ongoing logistics of ensuring positive student observation experiences. The Site Manager will also take part in a two-week Project Planning Course that will take place in early-mid April. The expected workload is high, averaging 50-55 or more hours per week, with the busiest work periods being April-June.
Terms, Compensation, & Other Benefits: This is a freelancer or self-employed position. The exact dates of the program will be outlined in the hiring process, but generally fall between May-August 2018 and can be 2.5 to 4 months long. Total contractor compensation is generally around 1450€ per month and can vary based on your skills, experience, and interview performance. Compensation is paid at monthly checkpoints. Site Manager may also earn a higher project compensation received as a bonus if work is completed in an excellent way as defined by Atlantis. The bonus could range from 0-200€ per month. Site Manager will report to a Regional Director in Spain.

Required Candidate Profile:
Must have attained a bachelor’s or equivalent university degree with good marks.
Must have excellent organization, interpersonal and time management skills
Must have excellent character, be trustworthy, and able to easily work across cultures.
Must be fluent in English and Spanish languages, written and verbal.
We prefer at least 2 years of work experience (and Student Programs and Operation roles are preferred).
We prefer, but do not require, basic proficiency in Microsoft and Google software (Excel, Gmail, etc).
