Job Description:

Objective of the role:
* to support RRA design teams in the delivery of numerous projects by undertaking a range of architectural duties including the preparation of surveys, plans, models, specifications and drawings and to ensure the effective and timely delivery of those services
* assist the RRA management in practice management 
Reporting to: directors, associates, project architect, job architect, office manager 
Key requirements
* assist in implementing the work programme by managing specific tasks, as directed, within the fee allocation
* provide appropriate design solutions within agreed objectives and within the given timescales
* undertake organisation, preparation and implementation of all requested drawings and correspondence connected with allocated projects
* undertake measured surveys of buildings and produce CAD plans ensuring accurate and up to date records
* contribute to the development of the design team and the practice, including recommending improvements to work practices, constructive problem solving and coaching other team members 
* lead, attend and contribute to meetings as necessary
* deputise for colleagues as necessary
* operate within the company's policies and procedures
* produce reports, costings, and statistics as required 
* participate in networking events as required 
* project a positive image of oneself and the company to others
* ensure effective self-management and organisation in order to meet all deadlines
* ensure the maintenance of effective communications across the Company
* ensure and maintain a strong internal and external customer service focus
* actively participate in CPD
* qualified to RIBA Part-I/II 
* previous work in a UK architectural practice
* ability to learn RRA software, MS Office programs and Photoshop
* good working knowledge of CAD, preferably Vectorworks
* knowledge of Sketch up
* good design skills
* good organisational skills
* fluent in spoken and written technical English
* accessible/commute to West End, London roles specific
* access to car preferred but not essential 
Positions in both London and Hereford offices.
