Here at Babcock International we're looking to recruit a Project Engineer.

The Major Infrastructure Projects Business Unit has been set up to establish and maintain a Strategic Infrastructure Plan for the Devonport site through to at least 2050 and to safely and effectively deliver the 'major' capital works projects that result from the Plan.
The roles sit within the 15 Dock Astute Fleet 22 Project. Currently there are vacancies for Project Engineers in the M&E Services and Civil Structures project teams. These offer a significant project delivery challenges and present excellent development opportunities.
Main Purpose of Role:
The primary purpose of the Project Engineer is to assist the Project / Senior Project Engineer in the delivery of project scope.
This will include the likes of the following;
* Provide input to delivery programme baselines and contribute to the operation of project control processes
* Be able to contribute to the development of a project risk and opportunity plan
* Assist the Senior Project Engineer by giving support to planning and scheduling of project activities
* Ensure all project documentation is maintained to the required standards within the BMS
* Management and delivery of distinct controllable tasks / activities.
What do I need to do the role?
You must have demonstrable experience and knowledge of engineering works, e.g. civil works, mechanical or electrical systems / services and proven experience working in a project environment.
Preferentially, but not mandatory, you will have a HNC/HND or equivalent in an engineering related discipline, IOSH managing safely/ SMSTS (desirable) and Confined space training( desirable)
