(COMPANY NAME) is a unique, award-winning startup that lives on the intersection of storytelling, engineering, digital and print. We are building a new class of global publishing business that brings millions of people into our superbly high quality products - as co-creators and audiences - and in doing so empower them to build connections with each other.
We're calling it Personal Publishing and we believe it's going to be massive.
We write, illustrate, build, design, and sell all of our products directly, and have a terrific team working to produce our wonderful products spanning from Art Directors to Dev Ops. Working together we have sold more than 4 million books in every country in the world, and we're just getting started! With the work you'll do here with us, we'd like to think we're on track towards becoming the UK's most admired creative company.
Life as (COMPANY NAME)'s Story Studio Artworker
We're looking for an enthusiastic, highly organised and detail-oriented person to join our Story Studio team as an Artworker. They'll work within the Story Studio team, primarily outputting story assets for use in our in-house production processes, as well as creating polished picture-book layouts for our Marketing team.

This role would suit someone who likes getting their teeth into technical problem-solving and the mechanics of storytelling.
A bit about the role:
Working closely with our Producers, on a range of exciting projects, making sure that book assets are produced to the specifications of the engineering team.
Artworking creative assets for use in book production, on our website and for photo shoots.
From time-to-time you may need to work hours that aren't typical, so a flexible approach is needed to get the best from the job.
You'll use the Adobe CS suite on a daily basis.
You'll be hands on and demonstrate an exceptional attention to detail and a keen eye for consistency, as well as a passion for layout, typography, illustration and graphic design
A great team player and all-rounder, able to work within a small team and effectively communicate with stakeholders and senior members of the team
Strong artworking skills, to maintain and improve (COMPANY NAME)'s design standards
Excellent organisational and communication skills
Meticulous at file organisation
Able to receive feedback
Experienced with the Adobe CS suite
Experience working for a design or communications agency is preferable but not essential
