Job Description:

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide day-to-day technical support for on-site and remote users. Support employees regarding network infrastructure, internal desktop systems software/hardware, and advanced support for corporate applications. Investigate problems with software applications, diagnose root causes, and provide resolution. Established methodical troubleshooting skills and techniques. Communicate highly technical information to both technical and non-technical personnel. The candidate should be excited by new technology and be driven to learn how things work to enhance existing troubleshooting skills better. The candidate should be self-directed and require minimal supervision. Good communication skills and the ability to write clear documentation are a must. Should be able to work in a team to define application support standards.

JOB SPECIFIC DUTIES:

Support corporate applications, including troubleshooting and finding the root cause of an issue. Resolve the issue if it is not development related.

*

Install, configure, and support PC hardware and software and printers remotely and on-site.

*

Apply security updates and patches per defined procedures.

*

Utilize a help desk ticket system to manage support incidents and report on your progress.

*

Lift/move heavy objects (desktops, printers, etc.) as required.

*

Manage projects/deadlines.

*

Track, manage, and procure IT hardware and software.

*

Work and communicate with globally dispersed IT team members, end-users, and the executive team in a transparent manner.

COMPLEXITY:

Works on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of various factors. Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action. Builds productive working relationships internally and externally.

SKILLS:

*

PowerShell or other scripting language or a willingness to learn.

*

Microsoft Operating System - Desktop and Server.

*

Linux Operating System - Server and Desktop.

*

Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Project, Visio, and Office).

*

Active Directory experience (new user creations, password reset, general troubleshooting).

*

Endpoint antivirus and web filtering Software.

*

Hardware knowledge down to the component level, including installation of new hardware.

*

Printer repair/connectivity experience.

*

Basic networking configuration and troubleshooting knowledge
