Job Description:

We are looking for a Technical Customer Success Manager to help our customers get value from their partnership with (COMPANY NAME), ensuring renewals and increasing customer loyalty.  The CSMs help (COMPANY NAME)'s strategic customers deploy and use the Big Data and Machine Learning Platform in production. Acting as the customer's trusted advisor, CSMs manage a system of checks and balances between the company and the customer, following up on what the customer needs, aligning the appropriate (COMPANY NAME) resources (engineering, training, or services), and doing technical troubleshooting and general relationship management. This includes understanding the customer their use case(s), business goals, tracking progress, managing customer satisfaction.   
You will be comfortable working across business, technical and senior management in a customer facing role, confident and articulate communicating with stakeholders. 
Ultimately helping the customer expand their consumption of (COMPANY NAME) products and services. A key aspect to success in the role is persistence: embed onsite with the customer to form a relationship of trust, anticipate needs, and act with agility and flexibility in the face of any situations that may arise. 

Responsibilities:   
*
Identify opportunities for the customer to increase the value they receive from (COMPANY NAME)   
*
Liaise with internal teams (sales, engineering, product and support) to ensure bi-directional communication and promote customer success   
*
Lead regular touchpoints with the various groups within an account and drive account planning   
*
Take ownership for the customer's experience with (COMPANY NAME)   
*
Onsite visits with the customer (typically 2-3 days/week onsite)   
*
Stakeholder management     

Qualifications:   
*
Great communication skills and a desire to build relationships   
*
Strong organizational skills   
*
A passion for technology   
*
An understanding of support case management     

Technical requirements:   
*
Strong knowledge of Java   
*
Knowledge or Python and/or scripting languages   
*
Strong knowledge of Linux   
*
Experience with at least one RDBMS (Oracle, MySQL, Teradata, etc) and writing SQL queries   
*
An understanding of networking concepts   
*
Nice to haves:   
*
Experience with Hadoop and related components (Hive, HDFS, YARN, Spark, HBase)   
*
Knowledge of Machine Learning concepts   
*
Experience with "NoSQL" data stores
