Overview:

The Paralegal role will be supporting the General Counsel on Legal research, administration, IP Portfolio documents and other general duties.

Your Mission

* Completing trademark and design clearance searches
* Assisting the General Counsel with admin related to the management of the IP Portfolio, including liaising with external Counsel regarding trademark and design applications, oppositions, renewals and registrations
* Liaising with notaries to arrange for all relevant documents to be notarized where relevant
* Preparing first drafts of NDAs, music licensing, consultancy and other agreements, liaising with the relevant internal departments and also third parties to implement any comments that they may wish to make and amending the draft accordingly
* Assisting with all commercial contracts related to fashion week shows, photo-shoots and other marketing initiatives
* Arranging for the contracts to be signed, countersigned and filed
* Drafting of board packs including minutes and arranging for signature of various documents at Board level
* Assisting the General Counsel with corporate governance including arranging Board meetings
* Assisting the General Counsel to draft research and guidance notes regarding compliance matters related to Corporate Governance
* Preparing and as required, updating summaries of lease, concession and other property related documents
* Arranging signature of documents
* Conducting extensive legal research including with respect to compliance
* Preparing first drafts of template documents
* Filing of signed documents and maintenance of databases and files in the legal department, including archiving
* Collecting, scanning and photocopying of various legal documents
* Keeping records of minutes
* Diary management, booking travel, organising meetings, submitting expenses
* Other ad hoc duties.

Your Talent

* UK Law Degree, preferably with LPC qualification
* Ideally has gained experience either in a law firm or in an in-house legal team
* Experienced in use of Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
* Interest and experience in working in a fast paced and exciting business
* Great organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise
* Excellent attention to detail
* Able to juggle admin tasks and more substantive matters into day to day agenda
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, oral and written
* Good team player
* Discretion and confidentiality is a must
* Proactive
* Excellent communication skills
* Ability to work under pressure and meet the needs of a demanding and ever changing/growing international business
* Passionate about the fashion industry
* French and/or Italian language skills desirable
