Shopper Marketing Manager - up to 12 months fixed term contract

Location: Gatwick (Hybrid - two days in office a week)

Salary up to £38,000 depending on experience + 12 flexible days in addition to holiday entitlement + other fantastic benefits

Position Summary

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Shopper Marketing Manager to join the team, based in Gatwick. You will join a supportive team who share the value of open communication to generate impact and return towards our common goals. The scope of the role involves planning and implementing Shopper Marketing Campaigns across key brands in assigned customers (Grocery & Pureplay) to maximise sales for Purina and deliver ROI.

Working both independently and cross functionally within the Purina category, you will be responsible for integrating and optimising shopper plans within the communications frameworks of our brands, in order to support the strategic category goals of the wider business.

A day in the life of a Shopper Marketing Manager ...

In this role, you will be responsible for planning and implementing the shopper marketing plans in your assigned customers.

Responsibilities include:

* Drive sales through implementing shopper marketing plans that encourage shoppers to buy Purina products instead of the competition

* Effectively manage multiple projects at any one time across an annual plan for assigned Pure Play and Grocery Retailers

* Be the Shopper Marketing main point of contact for the pre-filled shipper process for all key campaigns across Grocery customers

* Make Shopper Marketing Investment work smarter through planning, execution and reviews, ensuring the best possible ROI and insight to improve performance and efficiency

* Brief agencies on creative and media production areas through to completion to meet needs of customers

* Build effective and rewarding internal & external stakeholder relationships

* Be the first port of call for Retailer /Agency and main point of contact for relevant sales team

What will make you successful

The successful candidate will be comfortable working in an agile environment managing multiple projects at once. You will be happy to work under pressure and have the ability to manage workload calmly and professionally in an ever-changing environment to deliver exceptional results, using your initiative to solve challenges rapidly and often creatively.

Relationship building is key to success in this role so you should be able to demonstrate an excellent relationship building ability internally, externally and within multifunctional teams. Previous commercial experience in a Shopper / Marketing role with experience working on a Retailer is preferable.
