In this role, you will: Participate in analyzing companies and client investments Make recommendations to clients on investments Identify opportunities for process improvements within Investment Banking Program Review and analyze market data, valuation analyses, models, and presentations that require research, evaluation, selection of alternatives, and exercise independent judgment to guide medium risk deliverables Present recommendations for resolving business challenges and exercise independent judgment while developing expertise in the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals Interact with internal and external customers Coordinate with coverage banking, legal and trading to originate and execute transactions across all industry sector Develop pitch materials for client prospects detailing structural alternatives, quantitative analysis and execution recommendations Model and price convertible securities and equity derivatives Create and maintain spreadsheets/databases tracking market conditions and key metrics Required Qualifications: 2+ years of Investment Banking Program experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education Desired Qualifications: Candidates need to have experience in Derivative Markets Experience in Bond Markets 2+ years of capital markets experience Ability to work effectively, as well as independently, in a team environment. Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline driven environment. Strong financial modeling skills. Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy. Bachelor's Degree with academic distinction and coursework in financial accounting and corporate finance. Experience in investment banking preferred but not required. Professional experience through internships, part-time or full time work, and/or extracurricular activities. Dedication to building a career in Investment Banking. Willingness to work long hours in a demanding, highly focused collaborative and fast paced team environment with a sense of personal accountability and urgency for achieving results. Job Expectations: Ability to travel up to 10% of the time Registration for FINRA Series 63 (or 66) must be completed within 90 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted. Registration for FINRA Series 79 must be completed within 90 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted. Registration for Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam must be completed within 90 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted.
