You will be part of the 'Third Party Finished Goods Operations' team within the Life Science Supply Chain organization and you will be in charge of planning and buying finished goods from external manufactures throughout the world. A challenging, fast, cross-functional and international work environment is waiting for you.
Every day you'll ensure that all defined key performance indicators are achieved (e.g. inventory, on-time delivery) to increase customer satisfaction at reasonable costs. The major driver to achieve these goals are the adequate management of all necessary planning/buying activities and the close alignment with a variety of internal stakeholders (e.g. Procurement/Marketing/Demand Planning/Network Planning/Logistics/Quality/Finance and Engineering). In addition to the internal partners the close collaboration with our international suppliers is a key element of the job profile including the willingness to travel internationally, at times. For our major suppliers you'll prepare and lead supply chain review meetings. For this reason, data and root cause analysis and the identification of corrective actions will be an important task as well.
Who you are:
* Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in business administration/supply chain
* Minimum of 2 years supply chain experience
* Experience in ERP systems (SAP)
* Ability to balance priorities and to work under pressure
* Open-minded team player with understanding of global cultural diversities
* Strong communication and analytical skills incl. Excel
* High level of self-motivation/discipline
* Fluent in English and German is mandatory (written/spoken)
