DB Pension Administrator - Leaver Events Team - Dublin

Job Overview
Working as part of a team to provide a reliable and fully compliant service (in terms of quality and timeliness) when processing members benefits from Defined Benefit Pension Schemes.

Business Summary
The Defined Benefit (DB) Leaver Events Team operates in Dublin. The team work alongside the other DB administration teams located in both Dublin and Cork. Administrators work within teams led by a Team Manager. Additional roles to manage and support the DB business include Business Unit Leaders and Client Managers.

Report to: Team Manager
Team size: Circa 11 Administrators and one Team Manager

Responsibilities:
* Process benefits for DB members leaving service e.g. payment of Refund of Contributions and Transfers out to other pension arrangements
* Process benefits for DB members on retirement to include calculations of Revenue Maximum benefits
* Liaise with the other DB administration teams and scheme Consultants to ensure completion of work within SLAs and/or compliance
* Deal with member, client, and internally generated queries in relation to processing members benefits
* Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements at all times
* Additional tasks as requested by Team Manager
* Ad hoc project work

Requirements:
* Ideally 2+ years DB Pensions Administration experience
* Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise workloads and work to tight deadlines
* Effective communication skills and proven track record of providing a high level of customer service
* Ability to work within a team environment as a team player and a flexible approach to work
* High level of accuracy/attention to detail
* High level of problem solving capability
* Industry related qualifications ideal e.g. QFA, RPA, IIPM
* A keen interest in further developing a career in pension scheme administration
* A good understanding of the relevant underlying Pensions Legislation and Regulations
* Fluent English is essential
