As a specialist in automotive advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) applications you will be part of a strongly growing team addressing the company strategies on car digitalization, autonomous driving and software defined vehicles. Your responsibilities will consist of developing proof of concepts, product collaterals, system solutions in the field of Imaging, time-of-flight sensors and other ADAS applications. You will provide best-in-class technical support to facilitate design-ins and problem resolution at our EMEA customer base. You will interact with internal and external decision makers. As the center of application competence, you will drive the application roadmap and strategy staying in close alignment with Regional Sales & Marketing Organizations as well as with the Product Divisions

The major objectives in this role will be:
* To define the overall priority plan for support of the market: strategic and mass market customers, key applications, demonstration boards, technical training, support tools, collaterals etc. together with Marketing (Product-, SW - and System Marketing), Division and Sales
* To generate PoCs (Proof of Concepts) and System Solutions based on our Imaging sensors like Camera, Rolling Shutter and ToF sensors in cooperation with Marketing and division to support new system requirements of the automotive OEM / CTM needs.
* To provide best-in-class technical support to internal and external customers with a clear structure and priority
* To promote and generate Application and Technical Notes both inside and outside of ST
* To reproduce application failure modes to fix post-sales issues and report bugs and product weaknesses to Product Group and Product Marketing according to the Standard Operating Procedures
* To collaborate with external partners, universities, and institutes to continuously increase expertise and promote ST and Application Solutions

Profile

* Minimum 2 years' experience in automotive application engineering
* Technical skills in automotive development (SW / HW, communication interfaces, ..)
* Knowledge in the field of security and safety (FuSa) preferred
* Fluent in English
* Mobility for business trips
