Job Description

The Compliance & Sustainability Intern will support the Compliance & Sustainability Manager, as well as the Group Compliance & Rules Team and Group Sustainability Team, in ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and corporate ESG (Environmental, Social & Governance) goals at the local level, specifically for Middle East, Africa and India (MEAI) markets. This role provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in compliance and sustainability initiatives within a multinational environment.

Key Responsibilities

Regulatory & Compliance

* Monitor and report on relevant GCC laws and regulations, with a focus on UAE and KSA.

* Assist in drafting and overseeing policies and procedures aligned with corporate compliance frameworks.

* Collaborate with the Group Compliance & Rules team to localize and implement global compliance programs.

* Coordinate with HQ and local functions on regulatory requests, project management, corporate initiatives.

* Manage relationships with external legal counsels, consultants, and third-party compliance service providers.

Sustainability & ESG

* Support the integration of sustainability principles into compliance frameworks.

* Assist in the implementation of corporate sustainability policies at the regional level.

* Contribute to data collection, reporting, and stakeholder engagement efforts at local and HQ level.

* Conduct research on sustainability regulations, industry best practices, and emerging trends in responsible business conduct.

Requirements

* Passion for pursuing a career in the automotive sector;

* Maximum of one-year previous working experience;

* Hold a degree in law or economics;

* Hold a valid student or family VISA;

* Fluent in English (proficiency in Italian or Arabic is a plus);

* Comfortable in using new technologies, tools, and applications;

* Strong communication, teamwork, and presentation skills.
