Internship - Hospitality & logistics

Duration: 4 to 12 months (preferably more than 4 months)
Commitment: Approximately 25-35 hours per week
Compensation: No financial compensation

Description
AADK Spain is looking for a responsible and motivated intern to support the daily logistics and hospitality of our residency. This role is ideal for someone service minded, organized, proactive, and attentive to detail, with an interest in how space management, and daily operations sustain artistic creation.
A high level of English is required; Spanish is an advantage.

Role

* Prepare and maintain residency rooms and common spaces (cleaning, organising, restocking)

* Welcome artists upon arrival and provide information about spaces, schedules, and local information.

* Support artists with practical needs during their stay (equipment, materials)

* Assist in the setup and dismantling of exhibitions and events.

* Collaborate with the team to maintain workspaces, studios, and storage areas in good condition.

* Inform artists about updates and meetings.

Skills Required

* Strong organizational and communication skills

* Proactive attitude and ability to anticipate needs

* Attention to detail and sense of aesthetics

* Experience or interest in hospitality, logistics, or facility management

* Ability to work both independently and in a team environment

* High level of English (spoken and written), Spanish is a plus.

Living Costs in Blanca (Approximate)

* Rent: around 250 EUR/month

* Utilities: around 50 EUR/month

* Food: around 150-200 EUR/month
