Pay Philosophy
The typical starting salary range for this role is determined by a number of factors including skills, experience, education, certifications and location. The full salary range for this role reflects the competitive labor market value for all employees in these positions across the national market and provides an opportunity to progress as employees grow and develop within the role. Some roles at (COMPANY NAME) have a corresponding compensation plan which may include commission and/or bonus earnings at rates that vary based on multiple factors set forth in the compensation plan for the role.
Our Neurodiversity Internship Program is designed for students who identify as neurodivergent, which includes Autism, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Dyscalculia, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, or Developmental Coordination Disorder (DCD).

With this internship, you can learn how we harness the power of data and analytical techniques for a wide range of real-world business problems, including but not limited to predicting risk and setting fair and competitive prices for our insurance products, improving the efficiency of insurance claims and services, detecting claim frauds, helping decide where to spend marketing dollars, and more!

What are you doing this summer? If you enjoy applying advanced techniques to data to learn about the world and solve complex problems, our Internship might be for you.

When you take part in this 11-to-12-week internship, you'll have the opportunity to learn about insurance data, develop practical coding skills, create and apply cutting edge techniques to make predictions about risk, and see how data science impacts business decisions at one of the most sophisticated property and casualty insurance companies in the country.

You'll work individually and as part of a high performing and supportive team to work with data, develop data science techniques and build predictive models-all while you enhance your skills and refine your business acumen in the insurance industry.

This internship position will also allow you to explore a possible full-time position at (COMPANY NAME), a global Fortune 100 company.Qualifications
What we're looking for
* You're an undergrad or grad student working towards a degree in Mathematics, Statistics,
Actuarial Science, Computer Science, Economics, Finance, Business, or a related field
* You have strong analytical skills
* Familiarity with coding is a plus; ideally in Python, or other programs such as SAS, R,
Matlab, etc.
* Familiarity with predictive modeling such as generalized linear models is a plus
* You can commit to a full-time 11-to-12-week program
* You must have permanent work authorization in the United StatesAbout Us
