Main Responsibilities

* Explore new technologies in the field of digital cameras from HW, signal processing to application level
* Study different sensor technologies and analyze the possibility to utilize them for image capturing
* Research, design and implement traditional signal processing and ML algorithms to convert sensor data into high quality digital images

Qualifications And Detailed Requirements

* PhD students in signal/image processing, mathematics, physics or related field
* Excellent knowledge in mathematics, 3D reconstruction, computational geometry signal & image processing, artificial intelligence, computer vision, machine learning
* Understanding of imaging software and image quality
* Knowledge and interest in mobile camera development
* Preference goes to candidates who are currently engaging / have previous experience in technology cooperation projects / joint cultivation projects

Other Relevant Skills

* Fluent in English, Fluency in Finnish or Mandarin would be an asset but not compulsory
* Excellent collaboration and communication skills
* Energetic and a team player

Internship duration: 3 months +, interns looking for longer internship period and thesis workers are welcomed to apply
