A Snapshot of Your Day
Join our dynamic team as an Accounting Trainee, where you will immerse yourself in the world of finance and accounting. You will support the Accounts Payable and Fixed Assets processes, ensuring timely and accurate transaction processing. Imagine collaborating with experienced accountants to assist in month-end and year-end closing activities, while also engaging in the preparation of financial reports and analyses. Your contributions will play a vital role in maintaining the integrity of our financial data and supporting our commitment to quality and compliance.
How You'll Make an Impact
* Support the Accounts Payable process by controlling transaction processing and assisting in the purchase ordering and invoice approval process.
* Collaborate with the team to ensure accurate reconciliation and control documentation for month-end and year-end closing activities.
* Assist in managing the Fixed Asset accounting process, including CAPEX-related purchase orders and the maintenance of master data.
* Prepare one-time or regular reports and analyses to support the Head of Accounting and the Business Controlling team.
* Participate in the annual financial statement preparation and support the legal entity's financial audits.
What You Bring
* A degree in finance or a related field is essential, along with an active student status.
* Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices, with a willingness to learn and grow.
* Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, to assist in data analysis and reporting.
* Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers.
* A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to professional ethics.
* Availability to work a minimum of 30 hours per week, rather 40.
