We are currently recruiting for our London office,a Data Engineer (6-month internship)
You will join a Product Delivery team charged with the implementation of a geospatial platform solution for clients in the energy and finance sectors. You will work directly with Product Engineers and Data Scientists to solve complex challenges by improving existing solutions and developing new features.
Develop prototypes quickly, then convert them into reliable products
Provide technical support to Analysts during prototype building
Work closely with computer vision researchers to integrate and scale their algorithms
Continuously provide ideas to improve products
Languages: Python, Java, C
Tools: Message brokers (RabbitMQ, Kafka), data processing (Sci-kit learn, Pandas), satellite imagery (Rasterio, Gdal, Fiona…)
Stack data: Hadoop (Apache Spark, Hbase…), Elasticsearch...
Infrastructure: Docker, Rancher, Kubernetes, OpenIO, Gitlab...
We are looking for candidates who:
Are in their final year of study
Can write reusable, testable and efficient code in Python
Have a passion for building products that work quickly while following best practices
Are interested in developing big data solutions for geospatial applications
