In this role you will work under the direction of the Equipment Support Supervisor and in conjunction with the Equipment Support team, to ensure effective maintenance and calibration of all business critical equipment, instruments and systems ensuring they are completed according to the schedule, ensuring that the equipment and instrumentation used within the manufacturing and laboratory areas are available for use by laboratory staff.
You will comply with all relevant company policies, procedures and guidelines to ensure business critical equipment, instruments, and systems comply with current GxP standards, ensuring all documentation is completed in adherence with GxP regulations and company procedures. You will also support in the training and development of trainee and technician positions.
Who you are:
* Significant varied experience in a regulated environment.
* Experience with Laboratory equipment would be an advantage
* Knowledge of Refrigeration and other temperature-controlled units (Fridge/Freezers/Incubators).
* Self-motivated/ team player
* Familiar with creation of calibration and maintenance standards and practices.
* Willingness to participate in the departments Oncall system, as part of a Rota system.
* Flexibility on shift working, as and when required by the business.
The successful candidate will be expected to work with both internal and external personnel; therefore, experience in working with a variety of different groups in a formal capacity would be desirable.
