To support our Brand Experience Department we are looking for an
INTERN TRADE FAIRS OPERATIONS (100%)
Duration: 6 Months
Start: December 2024
The main function of this position will be to support the Senior Project Manager Exhibition Experience in all relevant operational preparations that occur before, during and after Watches & Wonders in Geneva in April 2025.
YOUR MISSION AT IWC.
* Internal and external staff-planning (selection, contracting, briefing, etc.).
* Sourcing of decoration material based on Visual Merchandising requirements.
* Planning of all logistical matters.
* Coordination and contact with various suppliers (catering, employment agency, decoration, etc.).
* Definition and organization of catering.
* Creation of manuals and guidelines to management.
* Accounting and controlling of invoices and budgets via SAP.
* Oversee physical set-up and operations of event on-site in a fast paced and ever-changing environment.
* Debriefing and Documentation after the event.
HOW YOU BECOME PART OF THE JOURNEY.
* Bachelor and/or Master studies with a focus on business or hospitality management.
* Talent for organization and project management.
* Affinity and feel for numbers and proficient using Excel, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint.
* Ability to prioritize tasks and handle numerous assignments simultaneously.
* Structured and diligent style of working with a strong eye for detail and aesthetics.
* Hands- on mentality and ability to work independently as well as within a team.
* Service-oriented mindset with the ability to work under tight timelines.
* Proficient in English, additional knowledge of French and German is a plus.
