Position Summary

As a R&D Flavour Intern you will build scientific competencies and/or provide a scientific support to projects using technical expertise in Flavour Science
You will study the molecular fingerprint (aroma and taste) of selected coffee products focusing on the portioned coffee category using untargeted and targeted approaches. These approaches include aroma analysis by GC-MS/MS and taste analysis by LC-MS/MS.

A Day in the Life of a R&D Flavour Intern

* Deliver technical and scientific support for R&D projects
* Plan and perform analyses in the lab and work with laboratory technician for objectives completion within projects
* Apply state-of-art analytical techniques and perform data treatment
* Ensure scientific data generated are of quality, leveraged into database and accessible
* Regularly present the results in written and oral form to team members and supervisors

What will make you successful

* First or second year of master studies
* High motivation and capacity to learn rapidly
* Good knowledge of organic or food chemistry
* Good knowledge of MS office
* Knowledge of analytical techniques namely gas-chromatography/Mass spectrometry liquid chromatography/mass spectrometry is an advantage
* Basics knowledge in statistical analysis
