Your mission, roles and responsibilities

The Product Line Controller is responsible of financial aspects for the 3 Product Lines (Assisted Driving, Cockpit Electronics, Display) and of their tracking by programs. He ensures the data reliability in line with process and finance principles, and analysis of the Product Lines' current and future profitability and cash.
The main missions of the role are to :

- Ensure Product Line controlling compliance with Group principles
o Ensure correct allocation of incomes and costs (specific or common)
o Analyze and alert Japan Finance team members and corporate global Product Line Controllers on discrepancies vs. forecast/budget/product life Business Plan (BP)/5 years Strategic Plan (SP)
o Ensure timely reporting input of actuals/forecasts through dedicated systems

- Provide program financial communication towards Japan Management, corporate, and the different Product Lines organizations
o Consolidate Forecast/Budget/Strategic Plan inputs from plant and R&D teams
o Update actuals/forecasts & prepare bridges to explain the gaps
o Communicate to Program Controllers detailed updates on each program profitability and help driving the program profitability towards target

- Lead coordination between teams to ensure proper forecasting by Program
o Track sales prices evolution and ensure their actual input by Program
o Coordinate material costs updated with overseas manufacturing sub-contractors
o Prepare split of exceptional/spot costs and retroactive repricings by Program to support proper bookings by part number/program
o Follow and update the programs codification to ensure proper booking of R&D costs

- Support Finance team members on ad hoc actions/projects

Your profile and competencies to succeed

What you need to join us? (mandatory)
 Master's degree in Business with Finance Major
 Demonstrated good communication skills and autonomy
 Ability to provide qualitative and reliable information, respect strick deadlines, and to work on cross-functionnal projects with multiple stakeholders
 Ability to manage uncertainty in a fast moving environment
 Fluent in English
 Strong Excel skills

Who are we looking for? (prefer)
 First experience in controlling,
 Or significant apprenticeship experience in controlling preferably in industrial environment.
 Computer literate and good knowledge of IT systems
 Intermediate or Advanced Excel
 Solid accounting knowledge
 Strong teamwork
 Good communication skills
 Fluency in English required
 Commitment to the highest ethical standards and willingness to adhere to (COMPANY NAME)'s Code of Ethics and Code of Management
 Minimum 1/2 years experience in an industrial environment including a first controlling and forecasting experience at plant level, ideally in the Automotive Industry
 SAP experience is an advantage
 Japanese communication skills is an advantage
