We are looking for a VIE Serial Buyer to join our team!

Your mission, roles and responsibilities

Our Forvia Interior Systems product group is looking for a VIE Serial Buyer for its manufacturing plants based in Pardubice, Czech Republic.

Faurecia Interior Systems Bohemia, plant Mlada Boleslav in Czech Republic:
* 700 employees, production of Instrument panels, Central consoles
* Main activity: injection, foaming, slush and assembling of interiors of the premium cars and customers
* Main customers: Mercedes, Audi, BMW, VW.

Job summary -
* Definining of saving opportunities and implementing them in the serial life
* Negotiation with suppliers and organizing workshops with them
* Ensure fluent production by having right components in the right time and quantity

You will be working on challenges that matter

Your missions:

Main responsibilities
* Define and implement savings for the company
* Work closely with internal teams and supplier´s teams to fulfill the purchasing key indicators (price index, P+L ratio, inventory targets; support quality and logistics targets with suppliers)
* Be involved in the supplier selection and kick off in program phase to prepare the start of Production
* Maintain serial vendor list updated and in line with Commodity strategy. Propose and contribute to downsizing
* Data collection/preparation and active participation on budget and reporting process as well as audits (for example VDA/ISO audits, customer audits, ICB,…)

What if it were you ?

- VIE candidate after Master Degree in Business or Engineering. Preferably with at least short experience in purchasing in industrial enviroment.
- you can manage MS Office mainly Excell and Outlook. SAP experience will be an advantage but we will train you.
- result driven and result oriented with positive and open minded attitude able to work and communicate with international teams. Able to adapt, motivate others, find compromises and work as a reliable team worker.
- adaptable candidate willing to learn with analytical thinking
- Fluent in English
