Job Description

You join the Legal Department of Ostrum AM within the General Secretariat as a junior product financial lawyer, under the responsibility of the Leader lawyer. The Legal Department designs and produces regulatory and contractual documentation related to the life of UCITS, AIFs (Alternative Investment Funds) and management mandates with the objective of ensuring the legal security of Ostrum AM and its clients and their best interests.
On a daily basis, you are responsible for:
* Create, modify, monitor and close UCIs (UCITS, AIFs) and French and international management mandates, including the drafting of KIID, prospectus and regulations, and the development of investment policies in collaboration with product and manager specialists;
* Participate in the development and negotiation of contracts related to these investments: management agreements, advisory agreements, financial management delegations, contracts with the fund's main suppliers (depositary and CAC in particular) while updating them;
* Support the business lines in their response to calls for tenders;
* Interact with other Ostrum AM departments, supervisory authorities, depositary, valuers, CAC, delegated management companies and NIM International legal departments;
* Interact with NIM's Public Affairs team to monitor regulatory developments in third-party asset management, whether discretionary or collective;
* Participate in raising awareness and training internal teams on legal and regulatory issues related to UCIs and management mandates and their environment.
As a financial lawyer, you work closely with all of Ostrum AM's businesses and more specifically, the Management, Development, Risk, Compliance and Permanent Controls departments, and, where necessary, law firms.
