Embedded Software Development Engineer

Your Responsibilities
In this role as an Embedded Software Development Engineer, you will design, implement and test ultrasound components which integrate with the overall feature design and implementation. These tasks will encompass, as necessary, a broad range of software development disciplines including application, infrastructure, and signal path development. You will own the successful delivery of the software components as well as all associated multi-phase software process deliverables including software test and requirements management. Development will be completed in object-oriented C++ in a Microsoft Windows Embedded environment.

Your Team
In this role, you will be a part of the Ultrasound GPU Signal Path Development team in Cambridge, MA.

Requirements include;
* BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.
* Knowledge of and/or experience with object-oriented programming languages (e.g. C++), design and coding.
* Ability to analyze and solve complex problems. Strong desire to learn and adapt to new technologies and challenges.
* Familiarity and experience working with Medical Device regulations preferred, but not required.
* Knowledge of software development lifecycle
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interface in a cross-disciplinary manner, including engineers, product managers, and clinical specialists
* Self-motivated individual with good organizational and time management skills
* Familiarity with embedded system development a plus
* Windows drivers experience is a plus
