Howden is looking for an IT Support Engineer to join our central services IT Support team. This role involves providing desktop and remote support to our London offices and offices around the UK, with over 10,000 personnel, including VIP support for senior management. The engineer will manage support tickets via Service Now, troubleshoot both common and complex issues, and ensure seamless IT operations across the company.

Please note this is a full-time, permanent role based in our central London office. The role follows a fully in-office work pattern so you are expected to be onsite 5 days per week.

Role Responsibilities:
* Provide 2nd line desktop support and remote assistance to global office personnel.
* Deliver VIP user support to senior management.
* Manage and resolve support tickets using ServiceNow ITSM.
* Conduct advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
* Coordinate with relevant teams for task delegation and issue escalation.
* Perform basic network troubleshooting.
* Support mobile devices, including Apple and Android technologies.
* Administer Active Directory Users and Computers.
* Provide support for Windows 10-11 and MAC OS X.
* Set up equipment for new joiners.
* Participate in ad-hoc support requests, including desk moves and desk-side support.
* Provide support outside of core business hours, including weekends, as needed.

Role Requirements:
* Previous experience in a similar IT support role, where you would have demonstrated some of the key responsibilities above.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Windows 10+ and Active Directory.
* Experience with Microsoft Exchange and Office365 (Intune, Azure, etc.).
* Familiarity with Mimecast, Microsoft Teams, and Zoom.
* Knowledge of SCCM, AutoPilot, and ITIL best practices.
* Experience with remote support tools.
* Understanding of Incident, Problem, and Change Management.
* Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures.
* Good understanding of mobile devices (Apple smartphones and tablets).
