Description du poste:

Join our 3P Carrier Team and play a pivotal role in transforming the way we operate with third-party carriers in EU AMXL (Amazon XL). In this position, you'll experience the unique opportunity to work both internally and externally, owning the full customer experience including scheduled delivery at checkout and services. You'll be responsible for the direct execution and performance of a specific section of Amazon's network, working closely with leadership teams within our carrier partners to drive meaningful improvements.

This role offers a rare blend of operational management and strategic innovation. You'll develop external partners, analyze performance metrics, conduct business reviews, and lead targeted initiatives to enhance the efficiency of our heavy bulky delivery network. If you're passionate about improving customer experience, driving operational excellence, and transforming logistics processes through data-driven decision making, this position provides exceptional opportunity to shape the future of heavy bulky deliveries across Europe.

Key job responsibilities
- Manage and prioritize program life-cycles for 3P carrier partnerships, often complex and cross-functional, delivering projects that directly impact the customer experience and business metrics in AMXL
- Drive performance improvements with carrier partners by conducting business reviews, analyzing data trends, and developing action plans to address key metrics such as concessions, delivery performance, and customer satisfaction
- Collaborate tactically/strategically with internal teams and external carriers to develop and implement process improvements that optimize the heavy bulky delivery network across EU
- Apply relevant tools and mechanisms to drive and measure progress, creating strategic initiatives that address both immediate operational challenges and long-term business objectives
- Identify opportunities to transform how we operate with 3P carriers in EU AMXL, working as a subject matter expert on EU-wide projects that can step-change important business metrics

A day in the life
Your day might begin with running a weekly business review, analyzing performance metrics and identifying trends across your carrier network. By mid-day, you could be facilitating a workshop with a carrier to deep dive into opportunities for reducing concessions or improving delivery performance. In the afternoon, you might analyze a carrier's network structure to propose improvements to truck dispatch times, or root cause an operational issue that requires immediate attention. Throughout the week, you'll balance tactical execution with strategic planning, working on EU-wide projects where you serve as the subject matter expert to drive meaningful improvements across multiple markets.

About the team
The 3P Carrier Team manages transportation from inventory origin to the final customer (and all miles between) with third-party carriers such as DHL, Hermes, and UPS. We are responsible for a wide range of metrics that directly impact the customer experience, the bottom/top line of the business, and AMXL's ability to grow as a business unit.

Although our team has reached a relatively steady state, there remains significant opportunity to shape the future of heavy bulky deliveries and make an impact. We seek professionals who can get hands-on with execution when needed, while simultaneously stepping back to think strategically and invent different ways of working. Our team values proactive problem-solving, analytical thinking, and continuous improvement to enhance both the customer experience and operational efficiency

Profil requis du candidat:

- Experience in program or project management
- Knowledge of Lean principles and DMAIC methodology
- Experience in MS Access and SQL
- Experience in requirement gathering and ability to write clear and detailed requirement document
