Hi, I'm Matt Young, Sr Director of Product Management at (COMPANY NAME),
I'm looking for a Competitive Intelligence Product Intern to use competitive research and analysis to help drive the work of our world-class product team. You'll sit side-by-side with Product Management, UX, and Marketing to influence roadmaps based on the latest competitive intel that you've gathered. To partner with leadership to define and help construct (COMPANY NAME)'s competitive intelligence program from the ground up
Work alongside a world-class product team

Partner with a winning sales team
Develop a critical product management muscle
Meaningful work you'll contribute
Develop a competitive intelligence program, including win/loss analysis, hands-on lab, competitor product launches, objection handling, and more.
Research and keep current on market/competitor trends and news.
Gather, analyze, and synthesize information about the Automation and Configuration Management markets, focusing on both existing and emerging competitive landscapes.
Brief internal teams around new competitor technologies, competitive messaging, and positioning issues.
Help foster internal competitive information sharing.
An entrepreneurial-minded spirit-you enjoy the challenge of expanding new skill sets and have a knack for building competitive intelligence.
A team player-you understand product strategy is a challenge best tackled as a team effort. You effectively partner with your teammates, utilizing their domaine expertise.
Scrappy and self-directed. You have experience driving projects in a startup environment with minimal guidance and limited resources while having a ton of freedom and creativity to continue moving forward. You roll up your sleeves and drive results.
Curious and inquisitive by nature.
Able to develop a point of view and use data to influence others.
Valuable experiences and skills you'll bring to (COMPANY NAME)
Strong skills in communication, presenting, writing and ability to work well cross-functionally
Proven ability to conduct research, college and analyze data
Bonus, but not required (shout about it in your application if you have experience):
Technical background (Cloud, Infrastructure Mgmt, Programming)
Automation or DevOps experience a plus
MBA Candidate or previous relevant work experience
