The International Civil Service Commission was established by the (COMPANY NAME) General Assembly in 1974 for the regulation and coordination of the conditions of service of the (COMPANY NAME) common system. This internship is with the Human Resources Policies Division of the International Civil Service Commission. The intern will work under the overall supervision of the Chief of the Division and work closely with the divisional staff on a range of assignments.
The internship is UNPAID and full-time and the initial duration of this internship will be for a period of three (3) month period, subject to further extension.
Daily responsibilities will depend on the individual's background and the needs of the Human Resources Policies Division during the period of internship.
Under the overall supervision of the Chief of the Division the intern's duties may include:
* Processing and analyzing questionnaire data;
* Researching reports and and preparing summaries;
* Acquiring and entering data from multiple sources to assist review of conditions of life and work in field duty stations;
* Assisting in preparing cost summaries of various proposals;
* Assisting in processing, cleansing, and maintaining the integrity of data;
* Identifying and defining new process improvement opportunities;
* Contributing to communication products and data analytics/visualization;
* Taking minutes of meetings and assisting in meeting ad-hoc data/report requests;
* Performing any other relevant duties assigned.

To qualify for the (COMPANY NAME) Secretariat internship programme applicants must, at the time of their submission, be enrolled in the final academic year of a first-level university degree programme programme (i.e. Bachelor's degree or equivalent degree); be enrolled in a graduate school programme (i.e. Master's degree or equivalent degree, or higher) or have completed an aforementioned academic degree, preferably in the area of human resources management, business or public administration, social sciences, education or a related field, AND, if selected, must commence the internship on the date indicated on the acceptance letter.
Experience using Word, Excel and PowerPoint software is an advantage. Knowledge of PowerBI and analytics tools is desirable.

English and French are the working languages of the (COMPANY NAME) Secretariat. For the position advertised, fluency in English is required; and knowledge of French is an advantage.

Working hours: Interns must adhere to the established weekly working hours of the duty station where the assignment is located though not exceeding five days per week (35 hours) and a one hours lunch break.
