We are looking for Internship on Flight behaviour Model & Artificial Intelligence who will be joining us at (COMPANY NAME) site in Toulouse.
This internship is to be filled from March, 2nd 2020 to September, 2nd 2020.
You will be joining the department "Navigation/ Surveillance & FMS".
Today's Air Traffic Management is based on aircraft position predictions given by ground tools. These tools are able to anticipate the aircraft behavior by creating a model based on average performance data shared by (COMPANY NAME) with the ATM community.
In order to gain reliability and efficiency, these models need to be improved either with data coming directly from the Aircraft itself or with IA models which take advantage of the massive data available of today's aviation
* Tasks and Responsibilities :
You will be working under the supervision of your manager who will help you identify your professional objectives and support you in the development of your skills.
The main goals of this internship will be to build a trajectory (space and time) predictor model.
Your main activities will include:
* Analyzing the input data (aircraft parameter, time series, contextual parameter, …) needed to train the model
* Identifying the best topology regarding the input data types
* Identifying the best criteria in order to measure the performance/quality of the model that you will build
* Developing the model (training, validation) and optimize it
* Based on results, proposing way for improvement and alternative solutions (pros and cons)
* Required skills:
You are preparing a diploma level Bac+ 5 Master or engineering school or equivalent, with specialisation in Artificial intelligence, Neural network, Machine learning.
* Algorithms and mathematical associated
* Python, IA framework
French or English: Negotiation level
* Soft skills:
You are a good team player and have excellent interpersonal skills.
You are autonomous.
