Job Description

The Credit Analyst Trainee performs delegated tasks with the objective to take over more and more responsibilities and learn all required skills for the Credit Analyst position. The main purpose of this job is to gain experience of all aspects of Credit Management.

The purpose of the job is to monitor the creditworthiness of (COMPANY NAME) customers and calculate the required Credit Limit (CL) for managing all signed deals with customers. This is done by making credit risk analyses resulting in Credit risk Ratings (CR) on (COMPANY NAME)'s customers and Credit Limit calculations based on existing and pending offers. The related data are used in internal decision making and are needed for customer specific balance sheet usage cost calculations and credit limit decisions to be made in accordance with the internal Limits of Authority (LoA) process.

Responsibilities

The Credit Analyst Trainee performs delegated tasks with the objective to take over more and more responsibilities and learn all required skills for the Credit Analyst position. The main purpose of this job is to gain experience of all aspects of Credit Management.

Responsibilities of Credit Analysts includes:

* Completion of Customer Credit Checks and rating proposals based on financial statement analysis.
* Informing Business Controllers (RBCs) of the proposed and approved ratings & limits
* Follow-up of ratings & limits which are close to expiry date and reminding RBCs accordingly
* Update of rating & limit methodologies and guidelines when appropriate in co-operation with other analysts and Head of Credit management team
* Development of operating tools in co-operation with other analysts
* Arrangement of training sessions for RBCs & RTSF and other involved parties

Required Skills

* University Diploma in Finance/Economics/business Administration
* Fluency in both written and spoken English is a must, good command of other languages (preferably French, Chinese, Portuguese, Spanish, Russian) is an advantage
* Strong communication, team working skills, interpersonal skills, problem solving, sharing and seeking knowledge
* Knowledge of the Financial Statements and Financial Ratios in order to be able to make analysis of those
* Ability to create calculation models using MS Excel (advanced XL knowledge)
