The Undergraduate Laboratory R&D scientist Placement for Cytiva is responsible for testing support for the development and innovation of new Laboratory products

This position is part of the R&D Discovery located in Harbourgate, Portsmouth, UK and will be onsite. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.

What you will do:
* Executing protocols/testing in Biochemistry (protein analysis), Molecular Biology (DNA / RNA extraction), Microbiology (cell cultures),…, to characterise Cytiva Life Science products
* Troubleshooting protocols as necessary
* Generating and interpreting data to assign tasks for projects
* Writing technical reports and presentations
* Compliance with H&S requirements

Who you are:
Undergraduate, currently in the process of obtaining, a minimum of a BSc in Biochemistry (or related Scientific discipline)

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
* Biochemistry
* Work in Lab environment

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
