Context, Stakes, Direction mission
Nutrigo is a social business that was established in 2013
Today Nutrigo is at a turning point, it has reached break even and need to find the right business strategies to scale up in a sustainable manner in other regions.
The company objectives are
to help to reduce anaemia to children above 1 year old,
with a sustainable social business model, ie minimum break even
The nutritional supplementary product, YingYangBao (YYB) in Chinese, has been developed by Prof Chen with proven efficiency. It is recommended by Doctors and sold in pharmacies. Awareness is created through educational programs to Doctors and families
Nutrigo is supported by the Chinese MOH
Today Nutrigo is deployed in Bengbu region and the objective is to scale it up in a sustainable manner in other regions of China. It has already reached more than 100K children and the ambition is to cover 1M children.
Today the environment has evolved:
Anaemia rate has decreased significantly, purchasing power has increased, there are new products available at affordable price.
Undergrowth remain a health issue in China. Malnutrition is a root cause
In this new environment it is important to redefine the strategy to reach the ambition in a sustainable manner.
Support Nutrigo GM to build Nutrigo strategy and the roadmap for scaling up
Develop & implement the Marketing strategy both towards different stakeholders, HCP and consumers
Key responsibilities and accountabilities
IN LINE WITH THE MISSION OF NUTRIGO AND ITS DUAL OBJECTIVE (SOCIAL & ECONOMIC)
Recommend the Marketing strategy from
Defining the relevant Health issue to tackle vs epidemiology, Government priority and ability to impact?
Recommending the right product offering and development, explore necessity of product range vs. health issue focus
Per targets develop winning value proposition/education program, building on insights of consumers, shoppers, decision makers and stakeholders,
Implement adequate and efficient communication strategy towards the different target audience, leveraging on digital and partnership with external stakeholders
Conduct research to
understand consumers behaviours, drivers and barriers and translate into relevant action plan to capture growth opportunity,
Identify stakeholders, understand their needs and anticipate their evolution
Report to Nutrigo Senior Marketing Manager and mentoring by Nutrigo GM
Main Functional Relationship
Nutrigo Marketing, Consumer Service, Sales & Operation
Stakeholders: Third party (production), Partners (NGO)
Collaborate with ELN China - Commercial, Marketing, Healthcare Nutrition, R&I, PD and General Secretary
