What does the job involve?
Driftslaboratoriet ved Hammerfest LNG søker etter Laboratorieingeniør. Laboratoriet leverer laboratorietjenester med høy kvalitet og effektivitet. Teamet består av 4 ingeniører og 4 laboratorieteknikere med ulik bakgrunn. I tillegg har teamet ansvar for en lærling i laboratoriefag. Laboratoriene ved landanleggene samhandler på tvers i nettverk og faggrupper. Laboratoriets ansatte jobber på dagtid. Vaktgang og ulike arbeidstidsordninger må påberegnes.

What will my tasks be?

Within this position, your key tasks will be to:
* Utføre ulike laboratorietester og analyser på prøver relatert til olje-, gassleting og produksjon, for å sikre nøyaktige og pålitelige resultater.
* Sikre riktig drift og vedlikehold av laboratorieinstrumenter, utstyr og fasiliteter for å sikre optimal ytelse og lang levetid.
* Opprettholde den tekniske integriteten til testutstyr, laboratorieinstrumenter og fasiliteter ved å følge standard driftsprosedyrer, gjennomføre regelmessige kalibreringer og implementere kvalitetskontrolltiltak.
* Identifisere muligheter for prosessoptimalisering og effektivitetsforbedring i laboratoriet, implementere kontinuerlige forbedringsinitiativer for å støtte virksomhetens behov og mål.
* Overholde sikkerhetsprotokoller og regulatoriske krav i laboratorieoperasjoner, og sikrer et trygt arbeidsmiljø for alt personell og samsvar med relevante industristandarder.
* Vurdere teknologier, metoder og utstyr i laboratorieanalyser, og drive bruken av dem for å forbedre effektivitet, nøyaktighet og bærekraft.
* Arbeid tett med andre avdelinger og team, som forskning og utvikling, produksjon og miljøhelse og sikkerhet, for å gi analytisk støtte og bidra til overordnede forretningsmål.
