We are seeking a Product Owner to play a key role in advancing our digital transformation journey. As part of the Investment Content Production & Distribution team, you will lead forward-thinking digital initiatives with a deeply client-obsessed mindset, bridging business priorities and technology delivery.
In this role, you will take ownership within the digital platform for Julius Baer's investment products and offerings, ensuring accurate, timely, and consistent representation across client and advisor touchpoints. You will define the product vision, prioritise the backlog, and collaborate closely with technology teams to deliver reliable, user-centric solutions within an agile environment.
Your work will directly influence how investment product data - including availability, classification, and structuring rules - is managed and activated across our advisory and wealth management ecosystems.
Balancing business strategy, regulatory requirements, and user experience, you'll drive improvements in automation, integration, and lifecycle management to ensure reliability and scalability across markets.
YOUR CHALLENGE
* Partner with Business, Technology, and Product Specialist teams to maintain and refine product
* onboarding processes and classification standards
* Work closely with Legal and Compliance to assess the regulatory impact of digital solutions
* Translate client needs into product vision; lead stakeholder engagement, prioritisation, and maintenance of a well-groomed backlog aligned with epics and features
* Take full ownership of assigned products throughout their lifecycle, ensuring regulatory compliance and optimal performance
* Collaborate with Agile Release Trains (ARTs) to deliver functionality, manage cross-ART dependencies, and guide trade-off decisions
* Act as a trusted advisor to business and senior stakeholders by presenting design and implementation strategies, integrating continuous user feedback
* Support Change Management through training planning and development of accessible client and frontline engagement materials
* Strengthen product ownership practices via structured backlogs, clear accountabilities, and regular refinement
* Leverage behavioural analytics and usability testing to iteratively enhance client experiences
* Establish adoption frameworks and feedback loops to ensure products meet evolving client needs
* Uphold the Bank's values and conduct, demonstrating integrity, due diligence, fairness to clients, effective conflict-of-interest management, competence, and strict adherence to all applicable rules and risk protocols
YOUR PROFILE
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Finance, Business Administration, or Engineering
* Proven experience (2-5 years) as a Product Owner or in a comparable role within financial services, fintech, technology, or consulting-preferably in client-facing banking or wealth management environments
* Partner with business stakeholders, technology teams, product specialists, and legal colleagues to maintain and continuously improve product onboarding processes and classification standards
* Translate client needs into actionable product visions; lead stakeholder engagement, prioritisation, and the maintenance of a well-groomed backlog aligned with epics and features
* Take end-to-end ownership of assigned products deliverables across their lifecycle, ensuring regulatory compliance, functional integrity, and high performance
* Collaborate closely with Agile Release Trains (ARTs) to deliver value-driven functionality, manage cross-ART dependencies, and support effective front change management
* Solid understanding of investment products, including relevant regulations and comprehensive lifecycle management
* Familiarity with key regulatory frameworks such as MiFID II and FIDLEG
* Experience working with financial data terminals (e.g. Bloomberg, Morningstar, SIX) and/or integration of financial instrument data feeds
* Confident communicator with strong presentation skills and excellent analytical capabilities, proficiency in data analysis tools, particularly Python, is advantageous
