Position Summary
In this 12-month internship, you will support the Medical Education Respiratory team in Canada to design, deliver, and measure high-quality educational programs. You will work closely with medical managers/leads, cross-functional partners, and external vendors. We value curiosity, clear communication, and a hands-on approach. Responsibilities
This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following:
* Support the Medical Education Managers with day-to-day operations
* Support in the preparation and dissemination of information and communication materials, as well as the coordination of meeting schedules
* Assist in the overall execution of educational programs and coordination of contracts, evaluations, attendance, and other needs associated with the programs
* Work closely with the field teams on the management of Med Ed implementation
* Support the Medical Education team in executing Therapy Area-specific assignments to enhance educational strategies
* Support change management initiatives for Medical Education optimization while ensuring that all changes comply with policies & internal requirements
* Champion improvements in processes and systems to create increased efficiencies and stakeholder satisfaction
* Lead special assignments related to medical education with broad business impact
* Identify and enable operational efficiency between the Medical Education team and other cross-functional teams
* Participate in cross-functional teams to support, enhance, and implement medical education strategies
* Assist with the coordination of team meetings, including divisional leadership meetings

Basic Qualifications
We are seeking professionals with the following required skills and qualifications to help us achieve our goals
*

Graduating this year or graduated within the past two years with a university degree in science, business or a related field
* Strong written and verbal communication skills to interface with external or internal partners. Well-developed communication skills including listening, summarizing, probing and clarifying
* Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, shift priorities, meet deadlines and follow processes
* Innovative, solution-based thinker with the ability to simplify processes
* Proven ability to work in a highly dynamic environment, deal with ambiguity, take initiative and lead projects
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with document management systems
* Eligible to work in Canada. This role is hybrid with an expectation of being in the office 2-3 days per week

Preferred Qualifications
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus
* Basic understanding of the medical education environment in Canada would be an asset
* Familiarity with medical compliance, fair balance principles, or regulatory requirements
* Experience developing educational or digital content for various audiences
* Experience working with external agencies or vendors in healthcare projects
* Bilingual in English and French

The annual pay rate for new hires in this position ranges from CAD$31,980 to CAD$79,950 taking into account a number of factors including work location within the Canadian market, education level (e.g., Undergrad / Masters / MBA etc.) and based on the experience required for the role.
