Role description:
We are looking for a Sustainability Trainee to join the Smart Buildings & Sustainable Places department, located in Madrid, Spain.
Role accountabilities:
* Support in the development of sustainability certifications: LEED, WELL and BREEAM.
* Technical analysis of assets and determination of sustainable and healthy strategies.
* Support in the implementation of sustainable strategies in ongoing projects.
* Monitoring of sustainability criteria applied on site and validation of construction materials.
* Collaboration in the coordination of certifications and drafting of additional work required to achieve certification (specialized technical reports and studies, site visits, etc).
* Working with clients and managing their expectations and requirements.
* Procurement of projects and fostering client relationships (ability to accept a report, prepare fee proposals and agree the scope of work) and manage delivery
* Overseeing the execution of projects
* The main thing: eagerness to learn and develop first steps in the world of technical consulting.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Degree in Engineering or Architecture. (ongoing studies)
* A high level of English is essential
