The Product Design studio at (COMPANY NAME) is a dynamic and energetic environment that continually seeks to challenge our views about customer experiences. We work on a diverse portfolio of products from consumer electronics to professional and health products. We are looking for a CMF Design Intern to help us deliver desirable products to our consumers.

OPPORTUNITY
Create content for (COMPANY NAME) color strategies and new CMF product designs in collaboration with CMF team and Industrial Designers

Create and implement CMF specifications for manufacturing and work closely with Industrial Design, Engineering, and Manufacturing teams to ensure quality execution

Manage the CMF library, equipment, color chips, color analysis and vendor approvals

Support the CMF team in developing and establishing new processes and methods to elevate our work and drive efficiencies

Assist in developing an understanding of CMF trends and manufacturing techniques in applicable industries

Support CMF team as they work with manufacturers and suppliers to evaluate and qualify new materials for future use

SKILLS
Enrolled in an Industrial Design program

Expertise in CMF technologies, tooling design, material properties and research and testing methods

Versed in analyzing trend and consumer research

Strong communication, influencing and presentation skills

Strength in developing and improving processes to gain efficiencies and outline clear responsibilities
