The Literature course offered were amazing. Find the well-known lecturers who are known outside of the university for their research etc. They are the better ones, who demonstrate the most passion for both their subjects and the students.

The university system in Germany is very different. Be aware of the independance of study, and the different attitudes towards study.

The course has to have to be interested for the student, I mean, don´t choose a course just cause other people do it. Choose the right one, even if you have to be the only Erasmus student in the class!!!

as a foreign student it helps us very much going to talk to the teachers at the beginning of the courses, in order that they explain with detail all the requirements of the course (level, exams, houseworks...)

first of all, go and speak with the teachers: some don't like erasmus program... so better check it before!
