Personal comments:
A lot of study cases throughout the semester. Sometimes a little bit difficult to cope with it when you're an international student who wants to travel and enjoys its journey but, at the end, it's all right This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

As my specification was "International Managment" it was very interesting to attend the course "Culture, Organisation et Management", because students from North America, South America and Europe took this course, so we had the chance to discuss the subjects directly with people from other cultures

Finance courses are really tough at the HEC Montréal. If you take marketing courses, let them be 3rd year courses. If you take Consumer Behavior, do it with Marcoux.
My opinion of the university assessment

Courses require a lot of time at the HEC Montréal. Don't take too many! This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

Sign up for more courses than you need at first, you are allowed to drop courses without consequences until one week after the beginning of the semester. On Master's level, don't take more than three courses, it's a lot of work!
My opinion of the university assessment
Personal comments:
The differences between the different courses are glaring, I had my best grade in a course which I really liked and where I didn't have to work much and had my worst grade in a class where I really worked my butt off. Oh, and don't make the same mistake I did: don't choose classes on Friday, you might miss out on some trips organized by the exchange organisation and by individual students. Go to all your classes. You'll find the teachers will drop strong hints on what they'll include in their exams which will minimise your study hours and make studying more efficient. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself
