I travelled every weekend and ate fresh food from the market daily. You can do it for cheaper if you want. I didn't. Telephone, Housing: was more expensive than at home. Food, Travel, Nightlife, Overall: was less expensive than at home.
Personal comments:
take the bus as much as possible. no real financial surprises. If you're going to travel, its cheaper in the winter/spring. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

I spent more, because I traveled as much as possible, and I always went out with friends to bars and parties. Travel, Nightlife, Overall: was more expensive than at home. Telephone: was the same price as at home. Food, Housing: was less expensive than at home.
Personal comments:
Always investigate flight costs to parts of Europe from France, it can be really cheap, or equal to the price of riding the train. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

I spent more in all of these categories because of the difference in the U.S. dollar/euro exchange rate, and also because my living location and the nightlife tends to be expensive in general. Food, Travel, Nightlife, Overall, Telephone, Housing: was more expensive than at home.
Personal comments:
The exchange rate was not good for the U.S. dollar, which really adds up when you consider how much you are spending. I would suggest buying groceries as much as possible as opposed to dining out, and spend less money at the bar by indulging in French wine that can be cheaper than water. As at home I live with my parents, I dont pay rent or for my food. Nightlife and travel was cheaper in France, so I spent less, even though I went out more. Food, Housing: was more expensive than at home. Overall, Telephone: was the same price as at home. Travel, Nightlife: was less expensive than at home.
Personal comments:
Always buy wine from Le Mutant. Only 1.50 a bottle!! This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

I was basically raped by the exchange rate. Food, Travel, Nightlife, Overall, Telephone, Housing: was more expensive than at home.
Personal comments:
Careful, at first you will be tempted to eat out a lot. By the middle of your stay, everyone will be eating pasta in their dorms. think ahead and spend frugally at first. You'll be happy when everyone catches up to your mindset. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself
