Take it as it comes and visit as many places as you have the opportunity to! Have an open ear and you can have been told some real Irish fairy tales from wise elderly persons! Don't worry about the weather, it won't change! ;-) You get used to it!

travel so much as you can.there are a lot of hostels in many places in ireland. the prices also good. a lot of interesting places must be visit.

To increase class hours, because we had only 20 hours, and when the class should last 1 hour and at least 55 minutes, it lasted only 40-45 minutes!!



FINAL COMMENTS

If you come to Sligo, go to Gateway. It is so close to the university and it is the nearest public accomodation from the town centre (20mn by walk)

Get involved in Clubs & Societies which are free to all students. It helps you mix better with Irish students.

Join the Clubs & Societies. For example I join the Discover Ireland Society which helped organise trips around Ireland. Also joined the International Society and had a wonderful German Exhibition and organised many other cultural nights. Relax and enjoy your experience in Sligo. People are friendly.

in a business course may be a bit more details about how to do business, how to open up new markets, how to win and keep cosumers, strategies and practical ways of earning money and having success instead of just general knowledge about trade and international politics.

Come by car to this country! The roads are amazing and you have to have good dampers.But to travel around to find small roads leading to the nicest places, cliffs, beaches and towns and to feel the independence to start a road trip when ever you want, a car is important.

I think that it's impossible to describe another experience like this one, if you live it. you can have a lot of information before the departure for the host country, but you will live every single experience when you're living in the host country.

help foreign students to interact a little bit more with local students, maybe it can organize or ask some irish family to take international students in their family, also for a little period, so in this way international students are forced to speak the proper english!!!!

Maybe they can devide the English classes in different levels. In the beginning it was really boring for me and for other students it was too difficult.
