Portugal was a little bit known for me because it's near from my home, so, I knew the essencial for surviving the first days. But the things that I learn here are always good.

Personal recommendation:
To be very talkative and try to learn about everything:people, culture, country, food. Portughese people is very curious about people from abroad, smiling and talking is something that can help you a lot.



FINAL COMMENTS

Be careful because this is a big city, but not to have fear about enjoying Lisbon. Always take the guides because they can give you a lot of ideas about places to visit, to eat, to go out...

A very good school, good teachers, more or less good facilities.



FINAL COMMENTS

Well, Lisboa is full of turist in the summer, so spring and fall is better. The weather is best in spring and fall too. The people can be open and friendly once you speak there language (many not-young people don't speak English). For me the stay was a big cultural thing.

Find a good safe place to live and learn some Portuguese as a politeness.



FINAL COMMENTS

Use the TAP auction through the web site to get cheap tickets home at the last minute. If you run out of food or cigarettes until 4am use the last night Cafe in Saldanha.

It is the best university in Portugal in terms of engineering.

Travel as much as possible, Try to discover everything is Lisbon, Make sure go to Algarve, Do not miss Coimbra festival in may, Do not miss "Carnaval" in February in Alçobaça, Eat Pasteis de Belem, Surf, Do not sit in the back of the bus after midnight, sit infront seats.
