I use to go to private parties in different students houses or in the University almost every Thursday night. It is quite common because if you chose to go out to a club or a pub it is quite expensive. Not many students can afford it. I went out down town only one night to know it. It was good but I found everything expensive. Anyway, if you like walking, the city it is very nice. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

Klubben, the student union's bar/disco is the place to be every Thursday. Social Club is a disco in the city, the best for heavy drinkers. You have free beer from 23.00 to 24.00 and the entrance is free before a certain time (1am?!). Every Saturday, the best place to go to (for you guys out there) is Train. This place was described to me by danish girls as the "meat market". During the day, Plug-inn is the best place to be at tha Aarhus Business school. Unfortunately, it closes early... You can travel to Sweden or Finland at very low prices through Ryanair. Please visit Stockholm. Of course you have to see Copenhagen in Denmark. ;) This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

Klubben is the foremost spot of nightlife in relation to school. Outside the school, exchange students are introduced in their orientation week to the Social Club in the city which respectively turns out to be the predominant location with its inexpensive offers, free student entry and its student population for most of the nights. Best places for exchange students to go out were Klubben in the Business School and Kollegium 6 at the campus of the University. Best place in the city in my opinion are Social Club and Sam's Bar (usually free with student ID). It was funny to go to Klubben. Klubben is the school pub which is open every day from 11.30 a.m. to 6.00 p.m. In klubben you can play cards or just meet for a cup of coffee of a glass fo beer and a sandwich. On Thursday evenings there is a disco from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

Klubben, the bar at the business school was really a nice place to meet with both exchange and danish students. Dowtown I would say social club was a nice place where a lot of foreigners liked to hang out. I would recommand Gas station as well. On the notice board of Jyske Musikkonservatoriet (in Fuglesangs Allé, close to ASB) you find plenty of invitation to concerts free of charge. You can also try gospel choir every Tuesday at 17 or 19:30 in church in Norre Allé (check www.gospelnet.dk). At Waxies there is a pub quiz every Wednesday evening. Well, that depends on your kind of musics and so on, but I think that Exchange Student will like the "free beer" at Social Club . However, don't gorget to go to Klubben, the School club! I was going to gorget, on August, ther is a Music Festival in Aarhus, so don't hesitate! This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself
