Was learning Italian a key decision factor?
Yes, I wanted to improve my Italian How much did you improve your Italian?
My level before: Basic phrases My level after: No problems in any areas (including slang) Personal comments:
I really enjoyed learning italian. I just love the ability to communicate so learning another language was wonderfull. I had the opportunity to read a lot, go to theatre, movies... It felt really good broked the language barrier and finally felt tottaly integrated. I eaven had the opportunity to learn the different accents for each region. Was learning Italian a key decision factor?
Yes, I wanted to improve my Italian How much did you improve your Italian?
My level before: Did not speak it My level after: Everyday knowledge (shopping, directions, etc.) Personal comments:
The first thing I did when I arrived at Pavia was an italian exam (written and spoken). I was put on a class from the first level. I liked very much my teacher and I had italian lessons during all 6 months. And, as most of the people (locals) did not speak english, I really had to improve my italian! When I left Pavia, I was feeling very confortable with the language. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

the fact of italian students being really open encouraged me to constantly improve, even if at the beginning I wasn't exactly fluid, at the end it came more easily speaking in italian than in english or even greek! This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself
