From an overall point of view, Italy it's and unbelievable country where to live and where to find most you are interested in (in addition to a great gastronomy and a lovely mediterranean wheather!!). Just to advice you that when travelling would be better doing it with someone else, so as to share expenses. However, Italy it's quite easy to visit it by yourself, and you can save a great deal of money staying at Youth Hostels, that normally are pretty good and in unique locations. Read Review

Overall
Language of instruction: Italian
Was learning Italian a key decision factor?
Yes, I wanted to improve my Italian
How much did you improve your Italian?
My level before: Basic phrases
My level after: At ease in most situations
Personal comments:
It wasn't that difficult to learn a language I'd not study never before as thankfully it's pretty similar to my mother toungue. So I was able to catch it up very quickly and become at ease in many social situations. Above all, the understanding came very quickly and even before than getting a fluent speaking level.

OVERALL
Important to choosing this university...
Academic reasons
KEY:
Very Important.

Not really important.
Unimportant.
Culture
Costs
Activities
Campus life
Party / people
Weather / Location
I wish I had known...
How to easier find private accommodation before getting there (most of the time it works through State Agencies that charge you the corresponding fee). And that point there was not very clear information from my home University about how to get accomodation there
In my opinion:
Everybody loved it, you will too!

During my experience abroad, I ...
Became familiar with another culture
KEY:
Happened all the time.
Happened quite a lot.
Happened a bit.
Didn't happen.
Traveled
Improved language skills
Met people from other countries
Became more independent
Partied a lot
Experienced a change in life
Advanced my studies/career
Personal recommendation:
Just try to deal the subjects you can attend with your co-ordinator.
