I've learned English since I was 4 years old so it wasn't difficult for me to take lessons in English. Although I didn't speak German before living in Klagenfurt I took german intensive german lessons and a few months later I could speak a little...

Austria is situated so close to everything and therefore one MUST visit the surrounding countries in addition to experiencing a different style of nightlife and new food choices.
Food, Travel, Nightlife, Overall: was more expensive than at home.
Telephone, Housing: was less expensive than at home.

Be aware that in Austria your deposit is three times your monthly rent.

I recommend everybody to travel as much as they can, because and Erasmus exchange is an oportunity in life that everybody should live,and it brings a lot of oportunities.
