At beginning I had a lot of problems because I could not speak frenc at all and the French are not so experienced with english. I was lucky to have some good french friends who can speak good english. When I left the country, I could communicate with local citizens. At first it was pretty hard, due to the fact that I studied French when I was at primary school and then I kept studying only English. Even if my mathertongue language is very close to French, I had to study hard to improve my level in order to be able to fully integrate in the local culture and to understand the whole lifestyle.
