Description:
While you are studying at the UBO (University of Western Brittany), you will remain a student of your originating university. This means that you must have enrolled in your university before leaving to come to the UBO. There must be careful preparation for your instruction and your stay at our university:- You must, in agreement with the member of the academic staff responsible for your instruction, draw up a detailed programme in writing of the studies you are going to undertake at UBO. You must ensure that the course or programme of instruction that you are going to follow at UBO is recognised and has the academic approval of your originating university. It is the originating university that will, on the basis of the results you obtain, issue your final qualification.

HOUSING
Personal assessment
Type of housing: On campus
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why? it's easy to find an appropriate appartment at a reasonable price. rooms on campus are pretty cheap, but really small, showers and toilets are shared and pretty disgusting, so are the kitchens.

EXPENSES
The accessibility of student needs
Main source of funding:
Family Other sources of funding:
An ERASMUS grant Work opportunities:
It was not legal for me to work Personal spending habits:
tarifs for mobile phones are pretty expensive in france, but they might get cheaper soon. Food, Telephone: was more expensive than at home. Travel, Nightlife, Overall: was the same price as at home. Housing: was less expensive than at home.
Personal comments:
if you want to travel around in france take the train and the "carte 12-25". sometimes air france has highly competitive student offers, check it out! if you want to buy sports gear decathlon is not a bad choice. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

OVERALL
Important to choosing this university...
I wish I had known...
concerning all administrational matters: take somebody with you who speaks french well, foreign languages aren't necessarily spoken, there's loads of forms and bureaucracy is often pretty complicated. In my opinion:
Most people loved it.
During my experience abroad, I ...
Personal recommendation:
if you want to get something done as far as your studies are concerned, this is a good place to go. if you're highly motivated try to pass the CSCT, especially if you might want to work in france later on. if you're looking for a place to party you might be better off somewhere else. FINAL COMMENTS
well, everybody tells you, but it REALLY rains most of the time, it's sometimes really hard to stand. so bring at least 2 good raincoats with you. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself
