Course recommendations:
I have done MA in Financial Services, Faculty of Laws. Do not really recommend this course as it is a mix of law and finance and thus a bit hard for lawyers when we study finance or for economists when we study law. Nevertheless, the university by itself is pretty bad organised. The Faculty of Laws is the best faculty there. The lecturers are very qualified, although personal factor has a great impact as Malta is a very small state and all locals know each other.

Personal comments:
I did not like at all that we had studied some subjects, got for the home readings others and had on the exams absolutely different. This point can be improved.

Course recommendations:
This University gives you the challenge to study at two different faculties at the same time. You yourself have to put some effort finding out which courses are given in which semester. Most of the time the faculty can provide you with a course description or they can be found online. It is wise to check your final course list with the faculty secretary.

Personal comments:
Suggestions would be about gathering information. The library is not very up-to-date and computer room has tight opening and closing hours. Within some faculties the communication could be more easy.

Course recommendations:
-it s an anglo-saxon system, so you can choice between test and assigment or both of them. -some lectures are difficult because of maltese accent. -you have to go and look at the blackbooard of your study area several times a week. -most of the lectures are available in a photocopying center"KONICA", thus you can be concentrated on your oral comprehension if you want. -some lectures are based on interaction between students.

maybe one improvements will be about the credit system and its european value.

the courses were interesting and the interaction with the teacher is closer because the number of students per classes was low.so the quality of working was really better.

the University of malta is great regarding the teaching but the administration's tabletime isn't appropriated.

Courses are lower level as my home uni, but some courses are really interesting.

Learn to deal with the constant changes of timetable, if you need something from the European Unit office, go and queue early because there is only one and a half hour for student hours...

i found the courses here to be less intensive than in my home uni. the teachers are all very helpful and willing to do whatever they can to help you.

The library here isn't great..alot of the books are very old and the computer facilities aren't that good.

Chances are that the courses they said would be available won't be.

This is not a place you would come if you were very serious about your studies. School takes a back-seat to island life most of the time. The classes are all quite easy.

I recomend everybody who have machalor degree in management studies to continue and finish MBA course like i did
